Bookings Policy

Booking for Acupuncture, Spinal Flow Technique or Reiki can be made by phone or via the online bookings page on our website. If you cannot see a time/day that suits your needs please don’t hesitate to reach out and inquire about alternative available appointments. Please note we are a by-appointment-only clinic, thus, it is imperative that you make a booking to be guaranteed an appointment. You will receive a confirmation email and SMS 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At Matter of Meridians, we value your time and energy and appreciate your mutual respect for ours and other clients. Matter of Meridians has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% appointment fee. Failure to cancel or attend the booked appointment will incur 100% of the appointment fee. 

Rescheduling can be made up to 12 hours before the original appointment time. Please contact us directly at matterofmeridians@gmail.com or 0488 763 289 to reschedule your appointment. If you fail to reschedule your appointment within the 12-hour period you will incur a 50% charge of the appointment fee.

You will be expected to pay any cancellation or no-show fees via direct bank transfer into the bank account listed on the invoice you will be sent or at your next visit.

Client Intake Forms

Matter of Meridians requests that new clients complete the Initial Intake and Consent Form for any Acupuncture, Spinal Flow or Reiki appointment at least 12 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. If you have not completed your intake prior to your appointment you will need to complete it at the beginning of your appointment at the expense of your consultation time.

Payment Policy

All payments are to be made in full on the day of the appointment via cash, card or a direct bank transfer before you leave the clinic. Please know that at Matter of Meridians, we do not offer refunds for any services we provide. 

Private Health Rebates and Claims 

For clients with private health insurance - Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine consultations can be claimable. This is dependent on your personal coverage and the health fund that you are a member of. Therefore, we cannot 100% guarantee that your consultation will be covered by your health fund. 

We recommend contacting your health fund if you are unsure as to whether your cover will accept Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine rebates. 

Please note all private health claims must be done after the appointment with the provider numbers listed on the invoice you will receive from Matter of Meridians. This means that you must pay the full price of the consultation on the day of your appointment, however, if you have private health insurance you will be able to get your refund back once you claim the consultation online. 

Reiki and Spinal Flow Technique appointments are not claimable. If you book in for an Acupuncture + Reiki appointment only the Acupuncture cost will be claimable as stated on your invoice.

Privacy Policy

Matter of Meridians abides by the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles and will always ensure the security and safety of all personal details.

Appointment Information

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the commencement of your appointment to ensure that your consultation will run for the full allocated time. Additional time will not be offered if you arrive late to your appointment and 100% of the consultation fee will still be applied. Please wait in the waiting area provided if the clinic door is closed as we are likely with a client. 

Mat Pilates Information

This class goes for one hour and is online. All classes run on Adelaide (SA) time.

It is paramount that you please let your instructor know PRIOR to the class commencing if you have any existing injuries, concerns or are pregnant. These pilates classes are unfortunately not suitable for pregnant women.

You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian permission to attend the class.

If at any time an existing injury flares up during the class, please stop and make your instructor aware.

All payments must be made before the commencement of class via bank transfer. All classes are $10.

Payments are not refundable, however, if you let me know that you cannot attend the class with at least 1 hour's notice you may use this as a credit for your next class. Any client who misses class and fails to let me know will incur the full $10 with no refund or credit.

All clients must fill in the client information form and agree to all Terms and Conditions before the commencement of class.
